This photograph was taken 90 years ago, in the summer of 1933. It shows the newly constructed Western Avenue in #Cardiff, looking east towards the Taff bridge. The image comes from the records of the Planning Department of Cardiff City Council.
Part of the work/projects we have begun working on are the social/welfare organisations in & around #Butetown The George Cross is one we're looking at. It's history what went on there and why.
