Kralk’s “mother” is what we critics call a macguffin - without this element the scene functions, but its inclusion radically alters the arrangement of the scene by retroactively is imbuing K’s characterisation with an archaic feature or origin (now made suddenly visible) #gw2

I feel like Mesmer should have had a smoke field among its kit, thematically. Hexes we’re so iconic for its builds in GW1; it’s surprising to seem them and curses gated to Necromancers only.
