@MartinG68901901@techteach_csub That is very true. Just like in kindergarten where we saw words with pictures. You start small and eventually get to more complex things, just like you said
@techteach_csub you could use Prezi and slidedeck to teach the pronunciation of wordd. show the word on one slide, break it apart on the other slides, and use the broken apart sounds to guide them into pronouncing words correctly.

@techteach_csub I definitly wouldn't lift questions straight from it like some teachers seem to do, but quizlet is great for studying. I would send them quizlets i personally made to ensure its good to study for any tests i make. #EDTE4100Fall2020TC10
@MagicBananas097 That is an excellent way to assess student success. As not only are you aiding in their understanding of the lesson, you are also reiterating that with the exit plan to ensure that they are remembering the material as well.
@techteach_csub I would use Google Forms as a means to check my students understanding of the lesson. This would also help me understand what i need to change in order to help students that are struggling #EDTE4100Fall2020TC9
@JessicaBerdejo@techteach_csub Being able to be express creativity is something that students need. And google slides is the perfect way to fill that need. Whether it is a group project or an individual project, being able to customize it will definitely help in keeping the lesson fresh in their mind.
@techteach_csub One could set animations for certain types of problems, working through the steps one animation at a time. This way any student could follow along whether or not they were able to understand the steps the first time or that 5th time. #EDTE4100Fall2020TC8
@_CrizzyB_@techteach_csub That is actually very cool and creative. As educators this tool would be extremely useful especially with distance learning now.
@techteach_csub I would use Classcraft. A technology tool that incorporates educational games and activities that motivate students and help build social skills as they work collaboratively in the learning process. #EDTE4100Fall2020TC7
@rocha_anyela@techteach_csub That is a great idea! It could work for all students to help them be better prepared and less anxious about remembering due dates and assignments. They could just easily access it through Google Calendar.
@_CrizzyB_@techteach_csub I completely agree, I feel that it better aides in their academic success and keeps things as you stated simple and organized.
@techteach_csub I feel google calendar would be the best way to help those with academic issues. Homework tends to be why students fail class. Being able to see when the homework is due is great not only for the student, who may forget, but also parents, who can help them #EDTE4100Fall2020TC6
@techteach_csub Khan academy could be implemented as additional support if a student doesn't understand a teachers specific approach to the lesson. Not only that, but students can also rewind as much as needed in order to understand the subject matter, not taking up the limited class time.
@JHines10347508@techteach_csub Perfectly stated, it aides in student wellness and mental well-being as a lot of students struggle with speaking aloud to others and working with others. Flipgrid gives them a sense of privacy to work through their thoughts without so much anxiety.
@fleck_mrs@techteach_csub I agree, I think the innovation to utilize verbal responses is great. I think it works best for people how can talk through their thoughts and really helps as you stated team collaboration.
@techteach_csub Flip grid is sort of like social media. As a result students with lower incidence disabilities can feel like they are part of a discussion much better as opposed to in person, where they might be ignored or feel pushed to the side. #EDTE4100Fall2020TC3
@k_rochacsub@techteach_csub This is exactly how my mom, who is a 4th grade teacher, did her mission projects. I think its really cool that we have the technology to make it feel like we are really at the missions.
@techteach_csub You could use Google Earth and set up a sort of "field trip" to different areas. You could set up the class and show them different sites from the area you are "going" to#EDTE4100Fall2020TC2
