What a fantastic day it has been! We are so proud of all the children for their resilience and the way they represented Angram Bank.
Have a lovely weekend!
We had a fantastic, muddy, woodland walk today as part of our geography learning. We spoke to some members of the public to find out their favourite parts of the woodland.
We raised lots of money in Y4 today taking part in the live @BBCCiN Gladiators show and practising our Gladiator poses! This afternoon, we had our Pudsey Party and celebrated our dojo prize at the same time!
Well done to our final assembly winners of the half term. Itโs been a great term and we have all worked so hard! Have a lovely break everyone and we will see you on Monday 4th November!
We have come to the end of our history learning on the ancient Maya civilisation now and to celebrate, we played a game of Pok-ta-pok in PE! It was very tough as the rules mean you are not allowed to touch the ball with your feet, hands or head!
Well done to our fantastic celebration assembly winners this week. Harry was our maths key winner, Isaac our reading star and Bella our home learning hero!
Todayโs art was all about Power Prints! We put together everything weโve learnt this term and collaborated on a large abstract print. We experimented with lots of different techniques to create new effects.
In art, we used hatching techniques to create our designs onto the wax resist we prepared last week. Iโm sure youโll agree they are looking impressive so far!
In history today, we learnt about ancient Maya written language. We built on our rocket reading from this morning and found out about how the majority of artefacts were destroyed.
Well done to our celebration assembly winners this week. Loryn is our home learning hero, Loel is our reading star and Joe has been shining on the Angram Bank bus! ๐
