4JN Congratulations to Bobby, who competed in the in the British school competition in Gymnastics. He competed in the under 11 section and placed 7th in the whole of Britain! What an amazing achievement we are so proud of you!

4KP: We are having a wonderful today at the St Mary’s Blackbrook Coronation Party! We started our day off with a parade around the playground, showing off our crowns. We then enjoyed traditional games on the playground followed by a street party style lunch outside! 🤴 👑 🇬🇧

4KP: We had an absolutely wonderful time in Chester today! We toured the Roman museum and became Roman soldiers for the day. We learned about Roman Gods and Goddesses, hygiene, the Roman army and Roman fighting techniques.

4JN - We have been so lucky today in Year 4. We have had a day of writing and working with poet Paul Delaney to produce our own performance poetry. The children have had a wonderful time - thank you Paul! @DPoetryBuzz big smiles all round

4KP: We had a wonderful time celebrating Spirituality Day yesterday. We took part in lots of activities that helped us learn more about our Faith and ourselves.

4JN - Our very own Bobby has competed in the North West tumbling championships at the weekend. Bobby won gold and has qualified for the English championships in May! We are so very proud of you! What an incredible achievement 🥇🏆

Y4KP did St. Mary’s Blackbrook proud this afternoon at the Philharmonic Hall in Liverpool! They sat beautifully and listened carefully to all the pieces played. We finished off singing the song we’d learned for the occasion and brought happy tears to Mrs Petricca’s eyes! 🎻 🎶

4KP: World Book Day 2023! All the children looked fantastic today! They either dressed as their favourite book character, snuggled up with a book in their PJs or dressed as a colour of our reading rainbow. 📚 📖 🌈

4KP: Some wonderful news this weekend! Grace competed at the North West Schools Gymnastics Competition in the Girls Under 11 category. She placed 2nd and has qualified onto the British Schools Final in Stoke-on-Trent in May! Congratulations, Grace, we’re all super proud of you!🌟
