@JohnBaldLangLit@kateowbridge This.
I taught in a school were we did breakfast everyday to get them in. However, what time they got themselves up and in varied but they knew a bagel would be waiting for them. However, SATs special breakfast meant they were in on time.
I hate it too.
@JoolzPru@Mouhssin_Ismail And assaulted a teacher. As a teacher a read what happened and clearly see it is a one sided view of the events. We have to see the story with caution.
@redgierob @smurph1905 I think it is a really fair price. I know other sights are having a crack down… don’t agree with their methods but I agree with their sentiment.
@Strickomaster @keith_legg I did my SL as the same time as our Head of School did the H. It was pretty much exactly the same with a slightly different case study in each section, a bit at the end & the requirement to visit a school. I am not ready for the H but could have definitely done it. Madness!
@Strickomaster @dustonschool In our primary school, you can take PPA at home if you wish. It is rarely done, however, as people like to plan with their year group partners. But, when questioned, they absolutely love the option and it regularly in list of things they like. Always felt like a no brainer?
@Clrees84@dave43law@ekajcw It is… and your decisions have consequences. I think after years of below inflation pay rises teachers and junior doctors have been squeezed to a point where the consequences would have been bad.
@HTMISTERK@pdcornish76@bphillipsonMP Is that the case though? In primary, a two form entry is a two form entry… teachers won’t usually differs but support staff might. Experienced teams always come of worst :(
@HTMISTERK@pdcornish76@bphillipsonMP I am reading this, and I am confused. If this is to cover teachers wages, why is it based on every 6 numbers etc? If two schools are the same size, with the same number of teachers, those with high PP etc will get more? Is that right?
@ArthurSwindel@RachelReevesMP We don’t have many of these left after years of underfunding. Easy to get a parking space though! Seriously though, hopefully the review support staff soon.
@teri1307@MaryRiddell What you mean they already received a pay rise? The independent body makes a recommendation each year about the pay rise… this is what they recommended this year? Labour haven’t given anything extra
@Ailsa50410891@Thisisboringno1@secretHT1 Perhaps having a really good education system would benefit everyone? Educate the next generation to build the economy etc. having good teachers is needed for this.
@udprdjm@professor_dave You get paid per pupil. Economies of scales is the only thing keeping us in the game at the moment. More children, yes please, is our current motto.
@Misse_eyfs Wouldn’t you want to see year 1? Our forever EYFS teacher went year 1 and is amazing. She has so vastly improved the transition and what our year 1 looks like. They thrive and she is thriving.
@joenutt_author@professor_dave State schools meanwhile and cutting absolutely everything and letting staff go in the hope of one day getting into the black.
