@Criter10n That bit of context that you left out is important, because many pro-Israelis might then go and misuse your statement and relay that Islam (falsely) permits killing civilians. Which it doesn't. But the case changes, as Palestine is being attacked and Hamas is defending on ground.

Even fard prayers at Masjid Al-Haram, in Mecca, take nowhere near 25 minutes from what I’ve seen (on average). And this is about making it easy for people who struggle to complete their 5 prayers.

Perhaps these faiths started out as true Islam thousands of years ago and yet human corruption introduced multiple gods or corruption in their books, which made them false religions.

When the prophet SAWS was asked by men who wanted to pay prostitutes, he recommended fasting. The desperate among them asked if they could cut their private parts, and ofcourse that’s forbidden.

@PapaDocLives @hamza_den Perhaps others tried. Individuals like that do more harm than good… they are literally doing the opposite of Da’wah and pushing people away from Islam by spewing nonsense. @SwordShadow13 @coolidge_marcus @Bob_cart124 To Christians, it’s not an iftar meal, it’s just a gathering meal… which is fine. To Muslims it’s called an iftar. Iftar means ‘breaking of fast’. Christians weren’t fasting that day, fasting for us is a form of worship, and since you weren’t fasting, you weren’t worshipping.

People at the time still suffered from hunger, poverty, illnesses, etc. He didn’t ignore them, but he also gave attention to other aspects of our religion as needed.

Second, there are actions that harm the community and actions that harm individuals. You’re still punished if you’re ignorant of sharia.

If his mother regarded it as permissible at the time, knowing it’s haram, that would make her a kafir, therefore the marriage is legitimate between Kuffar. I’m not sure about what the ruling is if she regards it permissible and ignorant that it’s haram…
