Watch & share our fight to #SaveJingFong Tan Li Zhen, a worker and 318 member says, “I’ve worked at Jing Fong since 1997, that’s 24 years...It’s so hard to find a job now. At my age, who will hire me? How will I feed myself? Don’t I have to eat?”
@THECITYNY This is filled with inaccuracies. Jess Coleman was a distant third to Marte, but this says he’s the “closest challenger”? Why spread this misinformation. Also wtf is the description of Japneet as just “an immigrant” when he went to elementary school in the district

*anti-real estate! Marte doesn’t fall into the YIMBY/NIMBY binary. The working class coalition that got him into office will hold it down for him this time too. It’s not about “saving” his seat, it’s about real estate trying to take back theirs! Vote Marte!
Anti-development City Councilmember Chris Marte is facing a primary challenger with diametrically opposed views—and as he tries to save his seat, Marte has falsely claimed a series of endorsements he didn’t actually earn: https://t.co/VWUjBpD4Pr
EMERGENCY RALLY TO PROTECT CHINATOWN!
🚨 TODAY (5/15) 11:30 AM, 46 Bowery 🚨
Mega-landlord Jonathan Chu made a deal with ultra-luxury Swiss furniture brand @Vitra to take over Jing Fong's banquet hall. Chinatown is launching a boycott of Vitra who profit from our displacement!
Join us on March 12th at 11 AM in front of @GovKathyHochul's NYC office to demand she enforce labor law now, return workers’ stolen wages, and cut the monopoly contract!
CPC ROBS REPORTER’S PHONE TO COVER UP POLICE VIOLENCE AGAINST PEACEFUL PROTESTORS
On Thursday, February 27, home care workers picketed notorious sweatshop Chinese-American Planning Council @CPC_nyc at their 60th Anniversary Wall Street Fundraiser Gala...
Protestors did NOTHING WRONG! Those arrested were a homecare worker and people who were protecting other elderly homecare workers from getting arrested
THIS is how @cpc_nyc celebrated its 60th anniversary Thurs: ARRESTING elderly home attendants & supporters 4 peacefully protesting. CPC’s 24-hour workdays rob workers of their health & time w/their family, while pocketing > $90 MILLION in stolen wages. CPC are the TRUE CRIMINALS!
CPC masquerades as a progressive organization, and is enabled by politicians who refuse to hold them accountable to the law. The elected officials who crossed the picket line are supporting these inhumane working conditions that are killing workers!
One popular spot told us they had to throw out food due to so few customers, restaurant workers were sent home early because there was nobody coming in, delivery costs are increasing for people already operating on low margins. Shame on ppl celebrating the death of Chinatown 🤬
It’s painful to see how many accounts are celebrating congestion pricing. Don’t be fooled - people aren’t taking the subway instead. They are just choosing to not come to Chinatown. Who pays the price of empty streets? We’ve started surveying small businesses and it’s been 💔
Thank you @RagaForQueens for listening to the community and withdrawing from @cpc_nyc’s racist and anti-Asian event at @mocanyc!!
We must combat anti-Asian hate at its root: racist luxury development, mega-jail, & 24-hour workdays that are killing Asian communities!
