YADSA is a registered youth-led organization committed to building a drug-free Zimbabwe. We champion awareness, prevention, and rehabilitation initiatives.
Study found that behavioral risk factors, especially childhood sexual abuse and #bullying, drug use, and alcohol use, are significant contributors to the global burden of noncommunicable diseases #NCDs in adolescents.

@InfoMinZW YADSA echoes the Minister’s warning — drug & substance abuse threatens to wipe out a generation.
We must act NOW thru prevention, education, & rehabilitation that empowers youth & communities to build a drug-free Zimbabwe.

Incidents of people taking their lives due to mental health problems are on an increase. The weight can be heavy but alcohol and drug abuse are not the solution. We should create healthy relationships where people can easily share their sorrows and worries.
Drug and Substance abuse statistics are high in Epworth Constituency, I will push and support motions in Parliament to deal with this. In the constituency I'm also working on empowerment projects for the youths, to keep them busy. Tichengetedze vana vedu, saving our future!
Youths who drink or do drugs are more likely to partake in risky sexual behaviors than their non-using peers.
They are more likely to have sex at younger ages & to have it with multiple partners.
Drug education is key in the fight against HIV infections.

@RealMabites@AnitaJaxson Job creation, vocational training etc will definitely go a long way in empowering the youth. However there is also drug abuse on the affluent side of our society were poverty is not a push factor. We can't ignore that sad truth...
Portugal is a great example of the effects of decriminalizing drugs. The solution is rehabilitation and drug education. Not only will this help the mass incarceration problem but could save many lives. #SUsocialwork
2)Mental health is real! Our youth are headed for disaster. If this social ill continues to be ignored then we are doomed. How many people can you name from your area that are high daily on something? There is no hope for the youth. What are the solutions?
1)Zimbabweans need mass counselling! Zimbabweans are not OK! We need a week whereby everyone gets free counselling. Take a look around you, what do you see?Majority of Zimbabweans are depressed. Many have anxiety and our suicide rate is high. Many are on drugs, even home made drugs
