I just finished reading @justinaireland 's books "Dread Nation" and "Deathless Divide", recommended to me because they're zombie stories and I'm a huge zombie fan. But these aren't your regular zombie stories. I LOVE them and highly recommend... and even did fan art. :) (blush)

@JennetAlexander H2 (1981) is neat in that you can watch it back-2-back with H1 and it's like one really LONG good movie. The gore does jump up a notch. Suddenly they were competing with Friday the 13th.

@JennetAlexander Salma Hayek and Tom Savini notwithstanding, my original take on "FDTD" was that it was a boring movie messily grafted to a stupid one. That was, however many many years ago and I'm willing to sit through it again and see if I feel differently about it now.
