It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of our CEO, Kevin Carey, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Kevin was more than a chief executive; he was a passionate advocate for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and a beloved, dear friend to so many in the YAI community. Since joining YAI in 2016, Kevin’s dedication, compassion, and vision helped shape a stronger, more inclusive future for the people we support.
“Kevin was an extraordinary leader, inspiring us all with his unwavering commitment to YAI in building a far better world” said Jeffery Mordos, Chair of YAI’s Board of Trustees. “He will be sorely missed but his legacy will live on through the many lives he touched.”
Our thoughts are with Kevin’s family, friends, and everyone at YAI.

There is no Medicaid cut that protects people with disabilities - please take 5 minutes to voice your opposition to Medicaid cuts.
