YAS is happy to announce that our training manual is here!
‘YAS to safe relationships’ Training Manual & Online Course is our solution in creating a school culture which no longer tolerates abuse. Our manual will help young people to ge the support they need and deserve.
A reminder that tickets are still on sale for our upcoming “Tender Flames” Exhibition and Fundraiser at Headrow House on the 8th of October!
This is a great opportunity to support local artists by seeing their work and listening to spoken word performances, whilst also raising
funding for our charity. Your attendance will directly help us to meet our aims of increasing the reach of our current resources and creating future resources for schools and designated safeguarding leads!

Hello! We are pleased to announce that we are recruiting for more volunteers to join our team!
Young Abuse Support is a survivor-led charity that is passionate about raising awareness of domestic abuse within young relationships and supporting victims in their time of need.
We also offer easily-accessible online advice on various topics - created by young people for young people.
We are looking for like-minded people who will join us on our team on this fight against domestic abuse and sexual assault. Together, we can make a difference.
Overturning Roe and outlawing abortions will never make them go away.
It only makes them more dangerous, especially for the poor + marginalized.
People will die because of this decision. And we will never stop until abortion rights are restored in the United States of America.
Today, the Supreme Court not only reversed nearly 50 years of precedent, it relegated the most intensely personal decision someone can make to the whims of politicians and ideologues—attacking the essential freedoms of millions of Americans.
Access to safe legal abortion care is a human right.
No one should be forced to carry an unwanted pregnancy to term and no woman should die due to unsafe abortion, pregnancy or childbirth.
We will continue to fight to protect a woman's right to choose. Always. Without question.
On our Instagram, we post advice on issues related to young partner abuse and sexual assault.
This includes SARC. These centres are essential and advice about what they are, how they help and their necessity.
How you find your local SARC is through the NHS website.
I had to advise two women today that if they speak out about their sexual assaults, they can be sued.
Even if they don't name their abuser.
Even if they don't identify him by job or relationship.
One wept at being silenced.
