Just in: Minnesota is sending Julius Randle and the No. 28 pick in the NBA Draft to the Brooklyn Nets in a three-team trade that sends Nic Claxton to the Chicago Bulls, sources tell ESPN. The Timberwolves will acquire Brooklyn’s No. 33 pick for Randle and No. 28.
@YGARTTD Duren very limited offensively. Bam has all the skills offensively. Face up, pick n pop, pick n roll. It’s just about is he willing to take volume shots. Defense is about a wash. Duren might be a little better shot blocker.
Michael Beasley says he didn’t waste his talent, the Heat wasted it for him: “I should’ve been, ‘cause I WAS”
“I was strong as hell coming out of college, ‘cause I lifted weights. That’s all I did in college. Every day. All game day”
“My life got a hold of me. And not in the partying sense, my mom, my family, having to be there. I’d have to leave a lot. And the Heat just didn’t have my back”
“Rather than tell me, “Yo, lift, lift, lift”… after my rookie year the beat writers put out that Michael Beasley and Mario Chalmers got fined $85,000 worth of missed weightlifting”
“Y’all always just laughed at me rather than ask me what was going on”
“Even now. You can’t talk about me having 30 points, 40 points, a good shot, a last shot without yeah, but his mental issues. It’s like… dawg, people are just so stupid”
@YGARTTD “I bought a $250,000 car and then bought a house for $2,000,000. I also bought my friends some cars and my parents a house too. You wouldn’t believe how little money we actually get bro”
This is how they all sound
Joe Haden says most people have no idea how quickly an NFL contract disappears once taxes and family expenses hit.
“I signed a five-year, $50 million contract.”
“I had about $26.6 million guaranteed.”
“My first year, I got a $12 million signing bonus.”
“After taxes, I only touched around $7 million.”
“The first thing I did was give my parents $3 million.”
“Then I bought them a $1 million house.”
“So right away, about $5 million was gone.”
“I bought my brothers cars.”
“I bought myself a penthouse.”
“I got a Range Rover Sport and a Bentley GT.”
“People hear $50 million and think you’ve got $50 million sitting in the bank.”
“That’s not how it works.”
“You look up after all that and realize you might only have around $1 million left.”
“You start understanding real quick that a $50 million contract is not actually $50 million.”
“That’s why so many guys go broke.”
Kevin Durant says you can’t tell a rookie anything about money, because he spent more than he made his first years and learned it the hard way
“I don’t tell these young dudes nothing. I spent a lot of money, I ain’t had my first few years in the league”
“I remember a year where I spent more money than I made”
“People were giving me advice too, and I was not listening. So when you’re young, you turn into the league with some bread, you ain’t trying to hear KD lecture you about financial literacy. I’mma figure this sh*t out the way I figure it out”
The Milwaukee Bucks have set an ‘unrealistic’ asking price for Giannis Antetokounmpo 😳, per @JakeLFischer
“The Bucks naturally want as much as they can if they're parting with their Face of the Franchise, so what constitutes unrealistic? Sources say Milwaukee has been asking teams for returns that would leave any club acquiring Antetokounmpo too barren to contend for a championship. Which is the precise opportunity Giannis is known to be seeking if he's going to finally leave Brewtown after 13 seasons and commit to a long-term contract extension with a new team.”

Sexyy Red allegedly was facing a lawsuit from producer Tay Keith, who reportedly passed away yesterday.
According to the paperwork, Tay Keith was seeking compensation after not receiving payment for his work on 13 Sexyy Red songs, including major hits.
JB could probably suffer a lower extremity injury and still be able to play another 5-7 years at a high level because his game isn’t built off quickness and explosiveness. Once IT lost that hip, his game was done. He just couldn’t move the same way.
No. They share no similarities except height and touch. IT had crazy quick twitch and an explosive first step. JB’s superpower is leverage and his pace. You don’t really see JB blow by guys like IT. JB is a master of playing low and getting to his spot.
By far no jumper Steph because his whole game is built around that. LMAO Westbrook still an explosive jumper, we saw Skinny Shaq, and 6-3 Giannis is probably about what old age Westbrook is. LMAO
Being 6-6 probably doesn’t affect playmaking MUCH. It would really affect scoring and defense. I don’t think I’d want a 6-6 CP3 because it would be wasted with playmaking. IT was just fast and could shoot. I think Brunson or AI is the best choice.
