YMCR, together with RGU Research Scholars’ Forum, is organizing a Plantation Drive at the University campus on June 6th, to mark World Environment Day and inspire collective action for sustainability.
YMCR met the inspiring riders of the “Ride for Cleaner Himalayas – Women’s Edition-2026”
Curated by Himalayan Fringes Project, these riders from Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, & Arunachal are on a mission to build waste-free communities.

We were honored to brief the Hon’ble Governor, HCM and Ministers on our mission to spread awareness and protect our water bodies.
Hon PM Shri @narendramodi Ji, in the 130th episode of Mann Ki Baat, acknowledged the inspiring work of our Arunachali youths from Youth Mission for Clean River who are cleaning rivers and streets across towns in the state.
This national recognition is a huge boost to youth-led community service and environmental responsibility. Proud of our young volunteers for leading by example and serving society with such dedication.
