Doing a PhD is challenging, but doing a PhD in a foreign country, with no source of support, and with continuous episodes of depression; thatt is traumatic. People would judge you, avoid you, and blame you. No one knows what's behind the story, even your closest family members.

As I'm mid-way through my PhD; I can't express how tough my journey is. It's 100 times harder than I expected; specially with the nature of experimental research that is uncontrollable most of the time. A dark endless tunnel.
