Special thank you @NYPDHateCrimes @NYPDShea for the quick apprehension of the perpetrator who attempted to set fire to my alma mater @YOFHS. Thanks to our elected officials and their staffs for their work on behalf of a grateful community. @KalmanYeger@SEichenstein@Pinnyringel
Hate crimes have no place in our society and will not be tolerated.
Today, we met & noshed with Rabbi Beyda & his team at the Yeshiva of Flatbush, elected officials & community members to re-assure them of our commitment to the safety of all NYers.
Just met with Rabbi Beyda & members of @YOFHS members to discuss their concerns, reassure them that the men & women of the NYPD are here for ALL NYers. & to let them know that @NYPDDetectives already had the suspect in custody from Thursday’s arson incident.

Nicole & @KalmanYeger had a great dialogue with students from @YOFHS this morning about the rise in antisemitism in #NYC, support for Israel & much more. We must continue to speak out against these heinous antisemitic crimes so students can learn & grow in a safe environment.
Today Nicole joined City Councilman @KalmanYeger at
@YOFHS in #Brooklyn to meet with students, show support & speak out against the unacceptable rise in antisemitic hate crimes in #NYC. WATCH:

Yesterday, I had the privilege of attending the unveiling of the new anti-hate memorial at the Yeshivah of Flatbush. It sends a powerful message -- we cannot stand idly by & allow hatred to grip our city. When confronted with violence or intolerance anywhere, we must act. @yofhs
"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good people to do nothing”
This quotation, displayed on the anti-hate mural unveiled yesterday at the Yeshiva of Flatbush, should serve as a call to action: In the face of hate, we all have a responsibility to do something
Students in our AP U.S. Government and Politics class put on a Mock Presidential Debate yesterday as our whole school voted for who they thought should win the presidential election! #yofhs https://t.co/lWreukaYF2
