A hoax text message has been received on campus falsely claiming that a case of the Coronavirus was confirmed at YSU. There have been no confirmed cases of the virus at Youngstown State University.
If something feels off, please call your local law enforcement agency. In addition, if you have information about the recent counterfeit exchanges, please call your local police department.
๐ข We recently received a report of someone using counterfeit money to complete a sale from Facebook marketplace. Several other local jurisdictions have had similar reports. Please be cautious when meeting with strangers & completing transactions through marketplace
