Y1 had a great trip to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park. This trip was linked to their current topic ‘Oceans and Continents’ and a previous science topic ‘Animals including humans’. It also linked to ‘The Lion Inside’ a well-loved story from English lessons over the Spring term.
Year 3 have had a fantastic trip to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park today to enhance their learning about the rainforest. Well done year 3, you were fantastic ambassadors for our school 🦁🦏🐵

Year 3 had a "wild" day out yesterday at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park, where they learnt all about different African animals, and some other animals-just for fun! Would you dare hold the African land snail or the hissing cockroach?!

Yr 8 had a fantastic hands-on day exploring animal adaptations during their visit to Yorkshire Wildlife Park. From examining skulls & bones to meeting snakes, snails & insects, students experienced science in action & brought their classroom learning to life.
