@DaleCalkins Also proposed cuts to @CalgaryParks capital #budget & @ParksFdnCalgary. If you don't have a regional park anywhere close (@NorthernHills & the whole of #Ward3YYC don't), then this is a big deal. #yycca can only fundraise to reno their #park spaces with *some* matching funds.

@yyc_another_jc Shade is something some residents said they really wanted for the #CreatingCoventry community parks, whether that be via a seating area by the trees, a gazebo/structure, or simply a picnic table with a large umbrella. Important both in 🌞 & 🌦 especially for those with tots.
