Capcom presents "The World of Biohazard 30th Anniversary" its first major exhibition to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the series!

Today's Capcom Spotlight announced "The World of Biohazard 30th Anniversary Exhibition," the first large-scale exhibition dedicated entirely to the Resident Evil franchise universe.

The event will be designed as an immersive experience that takes visitors on a journey through the franchise’s evolution: iconic scenes, character designs, original production materials, and behind-the-scenes content revealing how the games were created will be on display. In addition, there will be a line of exclusive commemorative merchandise, available only at the venue.

🔸 Introduction:

“Thirty years have passed since the release of the first Resident Evil game.
This exhibition unveils the history of horror and infection in the Resident Evil saga, offering an immersive experience
as if you were stepping into the game world. Through videos and original sculptures, as well as previously unseen production sets and character backgrounds, you’ll be able to experience the charm of the Resident Evil saga with unprecedented realism.”

🔸 THE WORLD OF BIOHAZARD Theater

As the opening act of the exhibition, this theatrical presentation allows you to immerse yourself in the world of the series. Scenes from throughout the series are projected onto a large screen, intensifying the immersion and excitement within the narrative universe.

🔸 Evidence of Fear

This exhibition brings together a wealth of development material focused on the themes of “viruses,” “parasites,” and “fungi”—crucial elements of infection in the Resident Evil series. You’ll also be able to admire up close the meticulously crafted, life-size figures of the villains.

🔸 Memories of Those Who Stand Their Ground

In the area dedicated to the protagonists who face off against the villains, the exhibition showcases their courageous feats—from their first appearance to the latest installment—demonstrating how they’ve survived countless life-or-death situations. You’ll also be able to enjoy a life-size photo op featuring Grace Ashcroft with “The Girl” hand peeking out stealthily from behind.

🔸 Limited-edition tickets with special perks: A set of framed pins featuring designs from previous titles.

A special ticket will be sold that includes a set of framed pins exclusive to this event, with the exhibition logo in the center and adorned with images from 22 titles in the Resident Evil series. This set includes everything from the first title to the latest installment, Resident Evil: Requiem, as well as masterpieces that bridge the main titles, such as Resident Evil: Revelations. Only 2,500 sets will be available, and they will be sold via a lottery.

Tickets will go on sale via a lottery system starting in early July:

- Results and payment: July 24 (3:00 PM) through July 27 (11:59 PM)
