BREAKING: E1 Tender Open for Bidding
President @vonderleyen: You warned Israel not to proceed with E1 expansion. They heard you loud and clear and did the opposite. What will the EU do next? Lip service or act in line with international law for a change?

For over a year, Canada has worked intensively and in good faith with the United States to negotiate a new comprehensive trade deal. We have been pragmatic, patient, and persistent. Our goal has always been to get the best deal for Canadians, never a deal at any price or on any time frame.
Late last evening I instructed our negotiators to return to Ottawa. We cannot accept what the U.S. has offered, and we will not give what they have asked.
Canada will match the U.S.’ new tariffs dollar for dollar in order to protect Canadian workers, farmers, families, and businesses. We take this step confident that it is in the best interests of Canada.
In the coming days, we will release the details of these new tariff measures, which will come into force the Tuesday after Labour Day.
Israeli settlers are seen surrounding and harassing a Palestinian woman as she lay on the ground in Umm al-Khair, Masafer Yatta, occupied West Bank.
Filmed in broad daylight, this is yet another terror attack on Palestinian helpless civilians unfolding in plain sight.
IMPORTANT.
A CNN journalist witnessed Israeli settlers abduct and blindfold a Palestinian farmer for refusing to leave his land, as IDF soldiers stood guard.
He was later shot, while the IDF blocked the road to prevent anyone from coming to his aid, making sure he would die.
Urgent call to the international community to take immediate action to stop Israel's violence and prevent pogroms by settler militias and the Israeli army across the West Bank.
In recent days, violence by settler militias, enabled and supported by the Israeli army, has escalated across the West Bank, including the torching and destruction of Palestinian property, and the forced expulsion of families and communities. These attacks have been met with silence and inaction from much of the international community, allowing the violence to continue and intensify.
Today's event in the village of Tell (Area B) when a settlers' "tour" in the village ended with the killing of at least 4 Palestinians and 1 settler and several people injured is leading to escalated violence in the area with settlers, ministers, and Knesset members calling for further revenge attacks which already started across the West Bank. Experience shows that these events can escalate quickly into mass pogroms when met with silence.
We call the international community to act now. Immediate pressure must be placed on Israel to stop further attacks, prevent pogroms and further killings, and ensure the protection of Palestinians, in accordance with Israel's obligations under international law.

OMG PALESTINIANS ARE BEING MURDERED IN COLD BLOOD.
Footage documents Israeli soldiers murdering 4 Palestinians and injuring many others in the village of Till in the West Bank
Haaretz Columnist Gideon Levy explains how the Israeli government is fully coordinating a rise in Israeli settler attacks against Palestinian communities in the occupied West Bank.
POGROMS
against defenseless civilians
all over the West Bank (while Gaza is under fire).
Israeli civilians and army joining forces.
It is not just Nethanyahu and few "rotten apples".
THIS IS ISRAEL
ARMS EMBARGO NOW - STOP TRADE NOW
This is what intl law requires.
Today's deadly clash in the West Bank began when about 30 settlers, including armed men and minors, entered Tell, a Palestinian village that Israelis are not allowed to enter, using a "hike" as cover. They did not coordinate with the IDF, even though it is required. The incident ended in a gunfight that killed two Israelis and four Palestinians, and the IDF sent five more companies to the area to contain the situation the settlers had started.
None of this excuses the Palestinian who seized a weapon and killed an Israeli officer. That is a crime in its own right, and two Israeli families are grieving tonight. But it does not change how the events began, or who set them in motion.
This is exactly how the Smotrich model is meant to work: it encourages "settlement/outpost pioneers," as he describes them, to move into Palestinian land that is off-limits, challenges anyone to intervene, and when violence breaks out, punishes the village and sets up another outpost in its place. This is not just my opinion; it is what he demanded today — evacuate Tell's residents, "clean" the village, make it "look like the refugee camps in Nablus," and transfer the land from Area B to Area C to build a new settlement on it.
One of the Israelis who was killed, Benayahu Mellet, was praised by Kahane's grandson for refusing to recognize the line between Area C and Area B, which separates what is legal from what is not.
This situation did not happen by accident. It happened by design.
ALARM!!
Violent attacks reported in all West Bank particularly northern area and Nablus!
Packs of settlers - terrorists in full force backed by Israeli soldiers -are calling for "blood", literally.
STATES MUST DEPLOY A PROTECTIVE PRESENCE
