I get many questions from students who don't get MBBS in 3-4 attempts whether they should continue the pursuit of MBBS. I try my best not to discourage them - but the truth is unless you are academically bright or rich, pursuing MBBS is a bad idea.
Medicine is a funnel that gets progressively narrower. If you find it difficult to get into the wider part of the funnel, it's even more difficult to pass through the narrower parts of PG and SS.
There's nothing wrong with being average at studies. However being average and competing against chronic toppers is unrealistic and a recipe for disappointment.
Give your sincere attempt once or twice. If you don't get, take it as a blessing in disguise and change track. Your ROE (return on effort) will be better in other fields.
Completed all my interviews! It was a wonderful experience learning about the programs and meeting like-minded individuals. I've come a long way, and there's more ahead. Excited for the match, hoping it goes well!
