Vector search that works at 10M vectors shouldn’t need a redesign at 10B.

LanceDB hit 18.05ms p50 / 21.61ms p99 across 10B vectors, while scaling indexing and letting each query tune precision.

Sent Jev an invalid question type. The validator leaked the full enum.

Only 3 are documented.

So I called it. Not a 404:

"Bounding-box questions are not enabled for your organization."

We’re starting a new series called Feature of the Week 🎉

This week’s feature by @Yah01_: Index prewarm now reads in parallel bytes windows. Loading a billion-vector index into memory used to take 95 minutes, now it takes 3.

Appreciate the reset 😂 But I’m not risking my model vanishing mid-project… time to switch to gpt5.6 and finish my work in peace

@xuanwo @thsottiaux Why does side chat have an expiration time? It’s really frustrating to come back wanting to continue a discussion in side chat, only to find that it has expired.

1/ Most curation pipelines have no shared version history. Six months later, nobody knows which rows trained that model.

@GIA917229015 @vllm_project maintaining a open source project is not that easy, sometimes maintainers have to review something that they are not the ones who are the most familiar with it.
