The CPI (Chipotle Price Index) does actually matter regardless of how you’d like to stomp your feet. Fortunately, Trump & Vance are aware of this fully, and in particular of how to actually address these concerns properly. But Neocons want to spoil it for one last chance to really stick it to the young people who hate them for failing to stop literally any of our problems. Enjoy it while you can I suppose.

If I hear another Boomer conservative bitching about Gen Z ordering DoorDash I’m going to become a communist. It’s true their grandparents always cooked homemade meals. But that’s because grandma stayed at home and grandpa had a union job and nobody could reach him after 5. They had a house with a full kitchen and 3 kids by 25. Meanwhile half of Gen Z men are forced to compete with the entire population of South America for some 12 hour long shift HVAC job that barely pays the rent. They’re 30 and nobody cooks for them because they can’t find any women who’ll marry them when they can’t even afford a starter home in the ghetto. The other half of Gen Z men are busting their ass competing with the entire populations of India and China for some 70 hour a week powerpoint job that asks them for updates on the slides at 3AM. They can’t find anyone to cook for them either, because every women around them is convinced that being a mother and cooking for a man is beneath them because they’re gonna save the world when they become VP of Marketing at MegaCorp in 20 years.

This piece from Futurism shouldn’t be making the rounds because it fundamentally misstates the findings of the NTSB preliminary report and attributes the recent loss of a King Air medevac near Ruidoso, NM to GPS jamming from the U.S. Army.

This crew launched planning to either fly a visual approach on a zero illumination night in mountainous terrain or to fly one of two instrument approaches that weren’t authorized due to equipment outages.

GPS jamming is common near some installations. It was noted in the NOTAMs this crew reviewed. They identified it during the flight and ATC requested the Army to shut down the jammer, which they did.

Even after having received GPS interference the crew requested to fly the GPS based RNAV 24 approach. Why would you ask to fly an approach with equipment you just saw was unreliable? At night. In mountainous terrain.

The crew then proceeded to call the field in sight and proceed visually with no instrument backup. They descended below a ridge line in the Capitan Mountains and impacted terrain. A tragic, yet classic, controlled flight into terrain (CFIT) scenario.

IMO this flight should never have been dispatched. But given that it was, shooting a visual approach with no instrument backup at night is poor judgement. Even more so in mountainous terrain.

This crew lacked the training and judgement to assess the situation and respond. The Futurism article is sensationalist and fundamentally misrepresents the sequence of events.

- A Haitian chick who thinks the United States is a “f*cking disgrace,” wants to abolish borders, law enforcement, and prisons.

- A Muslim guy who believes the U.S. deserved 9/11, is funded by the Muslim Brotherhood, and whose wife and father-in-law have terrorist connections.
