@bconlong Mixing Italian and Spanish happens. They are not that different after all. But if I am focused on the conversation, there's typically no issues and I can switch back and forth without issues.

@bconlong Well, exposure helps a lot. You can listen to the radio, podcasts or watch movies in the desired language. Join online groups to have informal conversation. Or start a language café. England is full of foreigners anyways.

Being a Spanish native speaker, it took me only 8 months to become that fluent in Italian (living in Italy). It also depends on the time you dedicate.

In my case, those are Spanish, English and Italian. My French and Luxembourgish are intermediate at best.
