UDHAMPUR: On National Panchayati Raj Day, the Rural Development Department Udhampur organised special Gram Sabhas across all 236 panchayats to strengthen grassroots governance and spread awareness of welfare schemes.

A major focus was the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, where resolutions were passed and collective pledges taken to eradicate drug abuse.

At BDO headquarters Narsoo, Ashwani Hansa attended as chief guest, along with BDO Narsoo, former sarpanches, panches, and locals.
