Happy Bail Pola Festival to everyone!

Today we prayed all our 38 cows and bulls, who work with us in the fields every single day. Our Deoni and Lal Kandhari cattle have been with this land for thousands of years, so we never felt the need to bring cattle from outside. This soil is theirs as much as it is ours.

This year the rains have really let us down. The fields are dry, the wells are low, and every farmer is looking at the sky with worry. Today, along with worshipping our cattle and our farm tools, we also prayed hard for good rain.

We hope God listens.

To all the farmers going through this — we are with you, in the good times and the hard ones. Whatever comes, we won't let you face it alone.

Living in harmony with nature is exhilarating as well as challenging.
