Our collaborative paper on using conventional and high-density surface electromyography (EMG) to assess motor unit activity has been accepted.
Many thanks to @Yasports and @KoheiEMG for the team effort!
Hi Patricio, my lab members and I are looking forward to meeting you and your family.
@SoheiWashino and Dr. Hirata, thank you for your continued support of this project.
Happy to announce that the application to invite Dr. Patricio Pincheira @patricio_ppm to Japan, submitted to the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, has been accepted!!
We are happy to announce that our new paper has been accepted by the Journal of Biomechanics!! Thank you for your contribution to the study!

The faster swimmers go, the higher they are in the water. https://t.co/nFVw3jjdb6 @OshoDayo@Yasports@SwimmersFly
And that’s happening at every aspect of the stroke cycle.
And this effect is larger when swimmers are creating propulsion.
Our paper in the current issue of @MSSEonline demonstrates the efficacy of manual interstructual release on shear modulus using ultrasound shear-wave elastography. This is a collaborative study with my Japanese colleagues, including @Yasports, @HIRONORIwata, and @SoheiWashino.
Happy to announce that our work has been accepted and published in MSSE! @MSSEonline Inter-structural release (ISR) procedure to skeletal muscles is believed to attenuate adhesion between neighboring muscles. We tested the acute effect of inter-structural release.
