@GhostPhum @Mlu__N77 No it won't, you might make it a little too slurry, meaning it'll take longer to set, often difficult if for instance you want to plaster a wall. You won't want it too watery. Your slump will fail.

@GhostPhum @Mlu__N77 No it doesn't, it just prevents it from getting hard too fast. Concrete never loses it's strength. Always remember there's a process called Hydration. With water Concrete gets even harder. As in every time you apply water or when it rains, that solid concrete gets harder.

@Mlu__N77 Most of the time batch plants lie about the slump test results they got at the plant and sometimes batch plants are a few kilometers away from a site so the concrete won't take long to set. Keep spinning the drum and apply a little bit fluid.

@Mlu__N77 There's actually a fluid to prevent fresh concrete from hardening very fast, but you need to keep the drum spinning. That fuild is not for sold concrete hence you can't apply it here, this concrete are already too hard. In some instances you might need to replace the whole drum.
