For anyone still following this account, there’s a new chapter of YDSA at GMU since August last year! It’s been registered as an RSO and officially chartered as a chapter of @DemSocialists! If you’re a student at George Mason, you should come to our meetings in the fall!
This account will be renamed or deleted soon to ensure that WHEN (not if but when) YDSA returns at GMU they will have access to this twitter handle without needing to try and contact those currently running the account or otherwise find the password
For those who have not seen, our chapter is disbanding. I want to thank everyone who has come to a meeting or event or in any way supported our work and the fight for socialism at George Mason and the larger Fairfax community.
Congress is preparing to fund a genocide. Rather than seek deescalation, the ruling class spends its time smearing those who recognize the humanity of Palestinians and the true cause of this conflict: apartheid. We will not be cowed in the fight for peace and liberation.
Attend tomorrow's FREE Trauma First Aid training session at the Art and Design Building 2026 from 5 to 7 pm! Do your part and keep everyone in the Mason community safe!!!
Our chapters are out here standing in solidarity with UAW workers on strike. Sign the pledge to support these workers today: https://t.co/bH0qQ8GnEw #StandUpUAW
Join us this Friday at 5 pm in Horizon 1011 to discuss and decide our 2023 priority campaign. Come with your ideas on how we can fight to build socialism on campus and beyond
We have had over 150 students sign up for our fall drive to help bring the socialist movement to their campus. Join them in this fight by signing up today: https://t.co/jS63wnnb1F
