It's Wellbeing Wednesday again! This afternoon we are all selecting activities across the school that are good for our wellbeing 💛

WOW! We had an amazing afternoon with a visiting scientist! We put on our lab coats and safety goggles to test lots of different materials - what fun we've had! 🔬

This week in Topic we've been learning about inventors such as Alexander Graham Bell and Tim Berners-Lee. We have had fun making string telephones and painting portraits using watercolours!

We enjoyed our first session using the new raspberry pi computers this afternoon! We have written some fantastic superhero poems in English so we typed them up ready to print.

Sadly it's Miss Spuffard's last day with us today! We wish her the best of luck on her new venture ⭐️

After discussing with the class what to spend our FOPS funding on, the children suggested a new bookshelf as our old one was very well used & falling apart! What a sensible suggestion - our book corner is much more inviting now! Thanks FOPS and all those who have supported them!

In English we have designed and made our own unusual chocolate bars, inspired by Wonka's inventing room! Next step, writing up the recipes! 🍫 yum!

We have been so busy this week! In Topic we've done some STEM challenges. The first involved making a nest strong enough to hold an egg 🐦 we talked about how to make it safe, strong and comfortable!
