Just going to say it loud for everyone to hear. Year 6 SATs results are based on a school effort and approach. Good results are down to every single teacher who had them from EYFS-6. Poor performance is not the fault of one teacher in year 6. Primary is a TEAM. We stand together

A problem in education is teachers are the front line on mental health, family, poverty issues and so much more. The idea that teachers just 'teach' is over. The line between teaching and social work, or mental health is blurring. Yet teachers cannot solve societal issues.

Finished my first half term at a new school and it’s actually mad how much influence a positive environment can have on your mental health and outlook. After two years of considering leaving teaching, I’m so excited to keep learning new things and improving as a teacher 🤩
