@FinalFantasy Speaking of minimaps, why on Cornelia is there no option to permanently disable the minimap? It completely ruins the sense of exploration and mystery, and every time I toggle it off, it comes back the moment I enter a new screen. I shouldn’t have to turn it off every 4 minutes.
SoCalGas: “We don’t set market prices or profit from the 128% rate increase.”
Also SoCalGas: “We plan to raise rates starting next year so we can increase revenues by over $4 billion.”
Unconscionable.

Who the hell decided that having a little baby health bar in the corner of the screen is NOT immersive, but covering the whole screen with blood spatters, turning everything black-and-white, and replacing the audio with a loud heartbeat (in a 3rd-person game) IS immersive?
@KaitlynAbdou@half_agony_hope As I replied elsewhere, 18- and 19-year-olds are both teens and (legally in the US) adults. 12-year-olds may be considered adults in some cultures (e.g., Jewish) but are NOT teens. Crazy, huh?
Definitely don’t think calling a 17-year-old a “young adult” is groomerish.
@half_agony_hope “Teen” and “adult” aren’t mutually exclusive categories. 18- and 19-year-olds are teens. In many cultures, 13-year-olds are adults. (Also, 12-year-olds are preteens, not teens.)
My daughter, who loves Wonder Pets and Dora the Explorer, would really love it if @askparamount fixed the glitch that first stretches 4:3 content to 16:9, THEN layers black bars over the left and right, cutting off 1/3 of the picture. (Those ovals should be circles.)
I never knew the GOP was so concerned about proper storage of government documents. I’m sure they’ll now throw all their weight behind investigating why Trump had 11,000 of them at his golf resort and not do something dumb like, idk, try to defund the FBI.
@BarksBooks It took me to the end of the tweet to realize you were talking about the people reading reviews, not the ones writing them. For my money, too many people treat their opinions as absolutes and are hyperbolically negative in an attempt to sound interesting.
@lololeereverie “No simultaneous submissions” is code for “why would you even consider submitting to anywhere else?” A reasonable stance is “simultaneous submissions are okay, but kindly let us know if it’s accepted elsewhere so we can remove it from the slush pile.”
