This summer, we invite you to join us as we focus intensively on Costa Rican Germans interned in the US during WWII. St. Mary’s University granted Nicole Johnson a Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship to seek historical recognition for internment in Costa Rica. /2
Over the past year, we rallied for remembrance of German internment in the US. Now we are pressing for federal recognition for civilians of German descent who were interned during WWII. We are thrilled at the progress that has been made so far!
