Congress appropriates. Trump redirects. Over and over, no consequence, no pushback that sticks

Four allied nations lose funding they were promised. Four friendlier-to-Trump governments get a windfall instead. Homeland security money becomes a campaign commercial

This isn't a budget disagreement. This is a president deciding Congress's vote is a suggestion he's allowed to ignore whenever it's inconvenient

They told him no. He did it anyway. And nothing happened

That's not governing. That's a man finding out there's no lock on the door

So Trump's lawyer Alejandro Brito sent them a letter demanding they retract it by Friday night or get hit with a five billion dollar defamation suit

Five billion dollars. For publishing a report. That's not a legal threat, that's a hit job with letterhead

Here's what actually happened in DC while Trump bragged about his troops saving the city

A Reuters investigation checked the court records. National Guard soldiers showed up in just one point three percent of criminal cases

One point three percent. For one point seven billion dollars. Do that math yourself since apparently CAP isn't allowed to

And where were the troops actually posted while crime supposedly raged? Wealthier neighborhoods. Minor incidents. Photo-op zones, not crime scenes

A federal judge already ruled Trump's entire legal justification for this deployment would "erase Congress's role" in governing DC. He lost in court and kept the troops there anyway, now extended through February 2026

So the actual scoreboard is this. Nearly two billion taxpayer dollars spent. A policy that barely touches real crime. A judge calling the legal theory illegal. And the one group that pointed all of this out in writing is the one getting threatened with financial obliteration

Not the failed deployment. Not the wasted billions. The researchers who reported on it

This is the pattern now. Spend the public's money on a program that doesn't work, lose in court, then turn your personal attorney loose on anyone who writes it down

Six American soldiers were killed when an Iranian drone struck Port Shuaiba in Kuwait.

Army officials had been warned REPEATEDLY the port was vulnerable, had inadequate protection against drones, and that safer locations had been proposed.

Then the attack came.

The medical response was reportedly so unprepared that some soldiers were using their phones to Google nearby hospitals. Yes, Googling hospitals. Wounded troops later faced additional problems getting properly identified and treated as combat casualties.

The Army finished its investigation months ago but still hasn't publicly released it.

While they go on and on about supporting the troops, where are the answers for these families? Why did their loved ones get left out to die?
