@ahouseofdynamyt@fluffyakaraa Keeping the city clean is not an impossible task. Few Nigerian cities have done so in the past & cultivated a culture of cleaniness among the residents. Calabar and Uyo for example. Even as the current crop of governors are sub par, you can still see the culture of cleanliness.
@ahouseofdynamyt@fluffyakaraa What about the lack of designated dumpsites/trash bins? What if the roads aren't swept?
Expecting people to simply have civic responsibility without the govt or institutions in place doing most of the heavy lifting will never work. Be grounded in Nigerias reality.
Alaafin of Oyo Arrives in Brazil: "We Have Come to Reclaim Our Children" – Historic Mission to Reconnect Yoruba Diaspora
His Imperial Majesty, Oba Abimbola Akeem Owoade I, the Alaafin of Oyo, has arrived in Brazil on a historic mission to reconnect Yorubaland with millions of Afro-Brazilian descendants who trace their roots to the Yoruba people.
The monarch, whose visit is part of a broader cultural and diplomatic effort, is expected to engage with Brazilian authorities, cultural institutions, and representatives of the Afro-Brazilian community in a series of events aimed at preserving and promoting Yoruba heritage.
The Alaafin is also set to be honoured in Salvador da Bahia, as UNESCO prepares to recognise Oyo as a Yoruba World Heritage Site, reinforcing the city's historical and spiritual significance to Yoruba civilisation.
The delegation will highlight the enduring influence of Yoruba culture in Brazil, where millions of people of African descent carry the legacy of their Yoruba ancestors in their language, religion, music, and traditions.
The existential threat is their govt which they're yet to face.
Those killing Nigerians are fellow Nigerians & many Nigerians recognise this fact.
You don't expect the whole country to unite against certain ethnic groups instead of facing the govt.
JUST IN: "NIGERIA 🇳🇬 GEO-POLITICAL ZONE BILL 2026
[1] As of October 1 2026, Nigeria’s six geo-political zones will become official and constitutional organs of government. This means that there will be four tiers of administration in Nigeria - Federal, Zonal, State and Local governments
[2] Nigeria will have six geo-political zones, with each being made up of seven states. Our constitution will prohibit the creation of any more states after these 42

We shall gradually migrate towards this to achieve our targeted goal by 2040
[4] Geopolitical zones will be responsible for maintaining regional police forces to augment the activities of the Nigerian Police Force
[5] Each geopolitical zone will be constitutionally obliged to generate, distribute and transmit electricity within its domain
[6] Every year, the chairman of the geopolitical zone will rotate among the six governors within it. A chief executive will be appointed to manage what will be a civil service structure
[7] Ultimate authority for the governing of each geo-political zone rests with the committee of governors. There will also be committees of commissioners to deal with matters such as education, health, housing, transport, security, etc
[8] Each geopolitical zone authority will be responsible for secondary specialist healthcare. They will build specialist hospitals in areas such as oncology, HIV/Aids, renal failure, dementia, reproductive health, dermatology, etc

This is Renewed Hope. May Nigeria 🇳🇬 rise again and be a nation of blessing and prosperity to ALL!🙏
It's unrealistic for Uyo to become a regional aviation hub when PH is there and already lowkey serves that purpose. Uyo does not have the population first of all, it's not close to other cities as PH is, the industrial base is small compared to PH. Who will use the airport?
Uyo International Airport is 60km from Calabar, 100km from Umuahia, 80km from Aba, 150km from Port Harcourt. If well strategized, it can become a major aviation hub. They just need to pick destinations well - so people know it's cheap to fly to certain places from Uyo.
@Oni_Okun Does Nigeria allow it in the first place?
I wont support it in Nigeria, but if I were American, all bets are off. Nigeria & the US are not the same. The US is a settler country where people who have benefitted from lax policies in some way have the most to say. Eg, Elon
@AkinwaleMu57250@nla_agba There's no town that share's the same name as the LGA in ese odo. Perhaps there's such a town in other parts of the state it's your business. Continue laughing at your ignorance.
@EGI0324@Kiteliban@Joe_brendan_ "Ese Odo" is a remnant from when the Ijaws used to be in the same LGA with Ilaje. Also, Apoi is greatly influenced by Yoruba both in language and in their names but they maintain their ijaw roots. Notable example, Sowore.
@Daynemeymey@iamwondermore01@nla_agba Na so. Empty braggart. Ijaws are already in Ondo state running their affairs so I'm not sure what else you're expecting.
@iamwondermore01@nla_agba A lot of you are really dull. Ese odo is a Yoruba word yes. The ilaje and ijaw used to be under one LGA which was Ese Odo. Are you saying the whole LGA was one town named ese odo? Ilaje got their own LGA and the ijaws remained in Ese Odo which they have to themselves. Thank you.
