Father God, I come to you as your humble servant begging progressives to take off their Gaza glasses and look at our opponent through the eyes of a normal voter.
I just cast my 10,000th consecutive roll call vote without missing a single one. It remains the honor of my life to show up and stand up for the people of Maine every single day.
Some of y’all would let a blind man lead you straight off a cliff. He knew about the tattoo. He is lying to you. You are in a narcissistic gaslighting relationship with a weak candidate. This is abnormal and it didn’t have to be this way.
Senator Whitehouse, respectfully, this is why comms staffers need to lock folks down. Calling allegations about this kind of behavior “a lot of nothing” is not the position any elected should want to take today. We’re better than that kind of flippant disregard.
Dem Sen. Whitehouse says he’s “not impressed” by the allegations against Graham Platner in the latest NYT report.
“Seems like a lot of nothing. I mean, the only one who had anything to say that seemed ‘unsettling’ was a woman who works for right-wing political operations.”
I’m sorry, Platner does not sound like someone who is comfortable being held accountable. “It shouldn’t be like this” umm well what’s done in the dark comes to light.
Voters in Maine may decide they don’t care about this, but whew.
@trouble_man90 It’s so frustrating watching the party make Black candidates jump through hoops and be damn near perfect just to be trusted, while an unwashed white guy with a Nazi tattoo and a history of disturbing behavior gets an almost cult-like defense.

Platner canceled a sit down when Eugene Daniels, Jonathan Capehart, and Anthony Coley were at the table just days ago. I would’ve loved to watch three Black men discuss the Nazi-tattoo with him.
JUST ANNOUNCED: @chrislhayes will speak with Maine Democratic Senate candidate @grahamformaine for his first national interview following reporting on his alleged behavior in past relationships.
Tune in to @allinwithchris at 8 p.m. ET tonight on @MSNOWNews.
@Carroll18537862 When I worked in the Senate, Al Franken was one of the nicest members to staff. He got swept up unfairly in the MeToo wave, and for what? Especially now that we watch people excuse much, much worse.
Asked Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, DSCC chairwoman, if she stilll backs Graham Platner after the NYT report: “We are still doing Maine,” she told me as she walked into the Senate chamber
That’s LaPhonza Butler in the video, who would later go on to become Senator LaPhonza Butler of California. She is a total badass with the calmest energy, which is exactly why she’s not someone you want to test. Everyone should have someone like her in their life. She’s the best.
Kenyan McDuffie is endorsed by Eric Holder, former Attorney General under Barack Obama.
DSA’s Janeese Lewis George is endorsed by Trayon White, who was expelled from the DC Council over federal bribery allegations.
The contrast tells you a lot.
Yeah, Hunter Biden has a resume full of nepo baby fuck-ups, but as someone who has actually been around him, I gotta tell y’all: the man has charm. And if the bar for political backgrounds has been lowered, but the rizz factor still matters…well then…
