@MonarchWolf @VTA @LevisStadium Uhh, no. I explicitly acknowledged that it likely worked for a few thousand, but likely not the majority of those counting on it. What does the age of cars have to do with it? Seattle's Kraken games use a pair of trains that are 61 years old & run every 3-4 minutes after games.

@holz_bau And there's probably a lot more that *shouldn't* drive...but yet we maintain a low bar to have a drivers license because there are so few places people can live without it being a necessity to meet basic needs. (And because they're so rare, they also command a premium price.)

@Jason_younge @WashingtonSRC @washdems California is cheaper because it's less dependent on our regional pipeline. And the tax is only "unnecessary" if you're ok with perpetuating prices that unfairly hide the real (esp. environmental) costs/externalities of fuel consumption.

If this offends you (and it should), blame the game, not the player. The system Boise and Idaho have established makes this a really good investment at taxpayer expense. It shouldn't be.
