In 1968, during Apollo 8, Bill Anders offered to humanity among the deepest of gifts an astronaut can give. He traveled to the threshold of the Moon and helped all of us see something else: ourselves. He embodied the lessons and the purpose of exploration. We will miss him.
#PersonCentred#OUK219 Perhaps teaching a patient sign language would be a good way for comms especially in the early stages of dementia, it might also help the memory muscle. Also it might be beneficial to help the patient make up little stories via their own imagination.
#OUK219 having put in the prompt words: evaluation, intervention, obesity and qualitative I found that the results kind of bonded together with studies such as weight management, living with and treating obesity and effective frameworks aimed at getting obesity under control.
#OUK219Clapson I am astounded that up to 80 people a month - including Clapson - can die due to sanctions. How can the DWP not see both sides of the issue i.e no money for calls or travel so how can people attend appointments? Sadly, today, it doesn’t look like much has changed
#OUK219disability I am considered to be disabled due to a chronic pain condition. My family is very supportive but I hear of so many other people who’s family don’t believe they are in pain, and it’s all in their head. We need more support and recognition for chronic conditions.
@OUK219Travers My growth goal is to complete K219 this year because it’s my second attempt. I failed not for not trying, I completed my TMAs, but because I had to look after my husband following brain surgery. I lost my confidence, but I’m more determined now.
#OUK219#healthandwellbeing I view both health and well-being as important implications for all. Both these subjects are very much a modern day ideology and I am hoping that the future generations take note so that they can prosper in life, love and work, safely and healthily
