@Willpa11 “ One quarter into the NBA Finals”. Idiots always got to be first with their scorching hot takes nowadays. Can’t take anything on this app seriously.
@njrealtornic It’s clear that Reich has a large voice in that room. Instrumental in getting Geno back too. He has a clear vision and plan. Jets offense could cook.
@Willpa11 The draft isn’t a popularity contest. The popular players weren’t picked. Doesn’t mean they were the wrong picks. They drafted very talented dudes. Just have to wait and see now.
@sugifps_@KnownAsSys I’m talking most gamers. Really like the gun play in this game. It is top notch. I don’t want to have to grind for hundreds of hours to really be able to enjoy it.
@JCDenton654@sugifps_@KnownAsSys Maybe so but the point remains that their player count has dropped because people don’t want to get smashed by toxic sweat boys over and over just because they don’t have gear yet. Most people will just stop playing all together and the numbers reflect that.
@sugifps_@KnownAsSys I don’t think it was their intention though. They invested 250 million plus in this game and a lot of people have already given up the game. It’s way too punishing for most gamers. There is so much they can do to try to make it more appealing to a broader audience.
@Protostar If Bungie is smart, they will massively overhaul the economy to appeal to a broader audience. Doesn’t Bungie realize most people in the world don’t have the time to grind the ridiculous amount of hours required to get what you need to even compete in this game?
@sugifps_@KnownAsSys They didn’t realize that a lot of players will just give the game up when all they can do is load in with free kits just to get stomped by fully kitted players with purple shields that have at least played hundreds of hours.
@sugifps_@KnownAsSys Bungie failed in this aspect imo. I don’t think they intended this game to be as punishing as it is to casuals. How could they when casuals make up a huge part of the gaming market? They underestimated the grind hours a player needs just to be able to compete in this game.
@DarkIxion I only pay attention to the numbers as a sign of Bungie needing this game to desperately appeal more to casuals. They invested over 250 million into Marathon but it’s so hardcore a lot of casual players have just given up the grind.
@Protostar If Bungie wants to save Marathon in the long term, they better find a way to make upgrading shields in game a common thing. The whole dynamic where purple shields get to stomp on casuals just because they have time to play 90 more hours is absurd.
@Zynbar_Island@delmontyb I doubt Bungie invested 300 million to cater to what a hardcore game needs. Not saying they need more PVE, but for this game to be as punishing as it is to casuals is absolutely crazy for what Bungie invested in it. I predict huge changes over time.
@crescenswings Bungie has invested so much money, it’s hard to see them not trying to make this game less punishing for casuals. I can’t imagine they’d be just content with a sub 20k player count without attempting some drastic changes first.
@JCaporoso All time disaster season for the Colts and getting #1 pick would be a dream for the Jets. Hate watching them is going to be a top experience if it’s in play.
