See the reason I caution against focusing too much on Bass is because it risks letting the even bigger idiot leftists in Los Angeles government off the hook.

The City Council and Board of Supervisors are EXTREMELY powerful and deserve a ton of the blame.

Lets name a few:

- Lindsay Horvath (Board of Supervisors)
- Mike Bonin (former City Council ruined Venice)
- Hilda Solis (Board of Supervisors)
- Sheila Kuehl (former Board of Supervisors, one of the worst COVID villains)
- Holly Mitchell (Board of Supervisors)
- Hugo Soto-Martinez (City Council, literal Socialist)
- Eunisses Hernandez (City Council, literal Socialist)
- Ysabel Jurado (City Council, literal Socialist)
- Nithya Raman (City Council, literal Socialist)

Every one of these people has contributed mightily to the dysfunction and incompetence in Los Angeles government.
