The current gym will continue to be in use as the districtโs auxiliary gym. The gym will be used to support district and community programming. The space is also designated for future school expansion of cafeteria and classrooms spaces.
By law, the $17M in this bond issue can only be used for the purpose described on the ballot and nothing else. It cannot be used, for example, to fund teacher or staff salaries, benefits or other district expenses, which are typically covered by the General Fund.#CarlislePhaseII

The School Board has accepted the petition and the Bond Issue will be voted on by the public on April 3rd. We are looking for your support for this outstanding project that is tax neutral for our property taxes!
Who Can Vote?
Carlisle Community School District Residents 18 years of age and older can vote on April 3rd. A non-registered resident can sign up to vote at their voting location by providing proof of age and residence.
The Carlisle Community School District will be asking the public to approve a bond for $17 million to add a new HS Gym, HS Classrooms, District Technology Improvements, Building Security improvements and new classroom furniture throughout the district.
The largest portion of the Phase 2 construction bond will go towards a new indoor activity center at the HS, featuring an indoor track, weight room and wrestling room! #NewGymforCHS
