It's not "artificial" intelligence, it's human intelligence. It is the collective knowledge of humanity, produced by countless generations of people, anyone who has ever published a text or created an image, as well as their teachers and their teachers' teachers.

But instead our collective product is hoovered up virtually for free by a few capitalist firms and their billionaire owners to enhance the profits and power of a few, with potentially existential consequences for all of us and zero democratic oversight.

Here is the anti-vaccine playbook.

They tell you they “just ask questions.”
Then they ignore answers.
They cite numbers that do not exist.
They invent phrases like “turbo cancer” that have no diagnostic definition, no epidemiology, no pathology. Meanwhile, overall cancer mortality has been declining for decades due to screening, smoking reduction, and better treatment.

They present correlation as causation when it suits them.
They reject correlation as meaningless when it does not.
They invoke historical scandals to imply every modern study is corrupt.
They demand impossible trial designs long after efficacy has been established.
They move the goalposts when you show them data.

Everything is delivered calmly. Logically. Reasonably.
That is part of the performance.
I do not pretend to know every individual’s motivation. Some are fearful. Some distrust institutions. Some profit from selling supplements, subscriptions, or attention. Some simply enjoy contrarian identity.

But here is the part that is not ideological:
Viruses do not negotiate.
They do not care about your politics.
They do not care about your skepticism.
They infect susceptible hosts.
Vaccination is not a moral badge. It is a biological shield. When population immunity falls, outbreaks rise. That pattern has repeated for measles, polio, and pertussis across countries and decades.

You are free to reject vaccination.
The virus is free to accept your invitation.
