📢 An update:
Yet Again has been on a small hiatus for the last few months as we approach the final stages of charity registration. We aim to relaunch soon, with a refreshed website. Please keep an eye out & in the meantime, contact @jayapathak_ if needed. As always, thank you.
Yet Again will return following a restructure, as a registered charity - we remain steadfast in our goal to challenge the proliferation of modern atrocity in all its forms. Thank you for your unwavering support. We look forward to reconnecting with this brilliant community soon🤞🏽
Currently back in Berlin for a few days. 🇩🇪
Visited the Berlin Holocaust memorial again today. A poignant reminder of how powerful effective memorialisation is.
“It happened, therefore it can happen again…” - Primo Levi.
Never forget. @HolocaustUK
A snippet of my speech at @HolocaustUK Appeal Dinner this week.
Failing to act after hearing survivors' pleas to combat prejudice, despite witnessing hatred, would be the greatest insult. The responsibility to fight antisemitism, racism and hatred lies with each of us.
“We must never give up. We must never stop teaching young people.” A moving moment when our guests heard these words from the late Zigi Shipper BEM #HETAppeal
It was the biggest honour to introduce such a powerful Appeal film tonight. Forever grateful to the amazing @HolocaustUK, all of the generous people who have donated and enabled us to have these opportunities, and of course the MOST special survivor community. 🧡 thank you!!!
We welcome this decisive move and encourage the UK government to acknowledge that the decision to ban certain entities goes beyond security concerns. It is important to recognize their complicity in atrocious crimes. #UyghurGenocide#accountability https://t.co/knzkMkhukS
This is an extraordinary interview with Holocaust survivor Ivor Perl.
It was through our frustration and anger at the hollow words of “never again”, a seemingly empty promise, that we set up @YetAgainUK. Our “why?”👇🏽
Excited to announce a special concert dedicated to my sister and the resilient Uyghur community. Join us for an evening of music that heals and honors the strength of those who resist. Let's come together and stand proud. https://t.co/hP7jfFeu5r

“… He urges me to “look around the world” – at Ukraine, at Sudan, at China’s treatment of the Uyghur Muslims. “So I would like to know, is there anything the world has learned from us?””
The words of Holocaust survivor Ivor Perl to @Freedland. https://t.co/q3PyKYaL4z
Last night’s deliberate destruction of the Nova Kakhovka dam is a violation of the Geneva Conventions and so a war crime.
‘Works or installations containing dangerous forces, namely dams, dykes and nuclear electrical generating stations, shall not be made the object of attack’
"Through the release of speeches, documents, images and spreadsheets, the world was provided with the clearest visual evidence yet of #UyghurGenocide."
Our statement one year on from the release of the groundbreaking @BBCWorld@TheJohnSudworth report:
Interesting development this week:
@jinko_solar has sold its factory in the Uyghur Region.
Pleased to see a company exiting the Uyghur Region, where 1m people have been put into internment camps & where 3m are subjected to state-imposed forced labor.

A delight to attend yesterday evening. These films were stunning and did a superb job capturing the most important work of the Library as we celebrate 90 years of its collection, preservation and sharing of Holocaust evidence. Give the videos a watch, linked to the thread below👇🏽
It was a privilege to join the final panel of this incredible conference. Thank you to @TheAJR_ and partners @FCDOGovUK@GermanEmbassy for hosting. Great to meet up with survivors and friends too. ♥️
The brilliant contributions made have been insightful and thought-provoking.
Today is the 80th anniversary of the start of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising.
When the Nazis entered Warsaw Ghetto to liquidate it around 750 fighters fought the well-armed and trained soldiers. The revolt lasted until 16 May, when the fighters were finally defeated. #OTD#OnThisDay
Sad to be missing day one but thoroughly looking forward to tomorrow, hearing from leaders & experts, as well as the panel I’ll be participating in during the final session.
This conference could not come at a more important time.
#WhyHolocaustTestimonyMatters
BL: We must develop 'testimonial literacy'. On the macro level this includes communal and national collective memory spaces of remembrance, like the creation of International Holocaust Memorial Day and Yom Shoah, plus technological developments in capturing testimony.
