The Senate wants to make Florida taxpayers keep paying for security for Ron DeSantis and his family even after the governor leaves office in January 2027...
A mind-blowing-but-true fact about Trump's stock trading.
Trump traded up to ~$700 million in stock in Q1 of 2026.
The 535 Members of Congress made ~$635 million in trades in 2025.
Trump bought and sold more stock in 3 months than all of Congress put together did in a year.
If you paid even a penny in federal income tax last year, you paid more than:
Tesla
Southwest
Disney
Live Nation
HP
United
PayPal
CVS Health
Palantir
Citigroup
PG&E
3M
That's right. They paid $0 in federal income tax.
It's time for big corporations to pay their fair share.
So many homeowners in FL28 are canceling their property insurance because they can no longer afford it. They thought they’d be able to rely on FEMA in the event of a hurricane. Now, insurance is unaffordable and FEMA is gutted. 04/07/florida-cost-of-living-surges-as-prices-quintuple-pace-of-growth-squeezing-residents/
There's going to be one story this November: that Florida Democrats built a coalition the state has not seen in a generation - big enough to include independents and Republicans, strong enough to fight for all Floridians. This is a coalition of change-makers.
Florida has been controlled by the Republican Party for 30 years. Republican have run all 3 branches of government here in Florida for 3 decades.
So serious question for my fellow Floridians……
If you are concerned with the homeowners insurance issues we have, the over development of our state, the rising cost of living, the education system not operating to the best of it’s ability, and the healthcare system deficiencies we have…….
Why do you continue to elect the same people that led us here?
For years, Florida agreed: protect our coast. Now that line is being pushed, hard. More drilling. Closer to shore. We know exactly what that leads to. And once it’s gone, it’s gone. This isn’t just bad policy. It’s a risk Florida cannot afford.
We are now forced to close intake and not help anymore cats until we find homes for the adoptable cats in our care. We literally have no more space and I'm having to say no to cats who will die without us.
all these kittens are still here.

4.7 million Floridians rely on ACA tax credits to keep their care affordable, but the Senate and House refuse to extend them.
As Governor, I'll propose direct primary care services in all 67 counties regardless of ability to pay.
