The Free Palestine activists in Jordan are advocating for a boycott of Andrea Bocelli, an Italian Opera Singer.

His crimes? Bocelli has reached out to not one, but two released hostages after they were released from captivity and performed for them.

Yaffa Adar, who was 85 years old when she was kidnapped, would hum Bocelli's songs while she was a hostage to stay strong. Bocelli sent her a letter and invited her to one of his concerts.

Segev Kalfon, who was held for over 700 days in Gaza, was also reached out to by Bocelli, who invited Kalfon into his home and performed a private concert for him.

These acts of extreme kindness are, of course, unacceptable to those who would do anything to convince the world that Israelis are not human and thus undeserving of any human consideration.

Today two Jewish schools in Brooklyn got bomb threats six minutes apart. 9:54 a.m. at the Yeshivah of Flatbush. 10:00 a.m. at the United Talmudical Academy in Williamsburg, 590 Bedford. Both evacuated. Dogs and ESU cleared them. No device. No injuries. Kids went home scared.
Two days ago, on the third anniversary of October 7, hundreds of masked people overran a vigil in Union Square and chanted “Long live Hamas.” They carried a Sinwar poster. They called Mamdani a traitor for showing up. He brushed it off the next morning.
That same day he put out a statement. He named the Hamas war crimes. Then he called what Israel did an ongoing genocide, put the Palestinian death toll above the Israeli one, and said our tax dollars fund war crimes. Occupation. Apartheid. Impunity.
