UPDATE: After breaking up the protesting crowds at Myaynigone and Hledan junctions, security forces have blocked the areas. Police have briefly detained 2 reporters who were covering the incident, and have arrested at least 10 protesters.
UPDATE: Two Myitkyina Education Degree College teachers were arrested by the police early on Friday while preparing to protest against the military regime. The college is heavily guarded by the authorities to stop staff from joining the protests. #WhatIsHappeningInMyanmar
