It was exactly three days after the coup:

Major Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu was transported from Kaduna to Lagos on January 18, 1966.

He was flown down after negotiations with Lieutenant-Colonel Conrad Nwawo, and upon arrival in Lagos, he was immediately arrested and locked up at the Kirikiri Maximum Security Prison with other January Boys.

I used to have one of the photos taken at the Ikeja Airport on his way to Army Headquarters for interrogation. I lost that photo and more when my laptop was stolen many years ago.
