I have news! Because I’m terrible at keeping up with social media, I have a long overdue exciting life update: I married the wonderful Anne (not on ‘the social media formerly known as as Twitter’) on July 6!
Put on your radio glasses! The Radio Galaxy Zoo: EMU is going live! Help us link radio sources to their parent galaxies and classify them with simple descriptive tags. Get involved and give the project a try — visit: https://t.co/1QgACcQIpf
@Lawrious If the LAs are blaming their courier it’s absolutely appalling they have no mechanism in place to deal with a failure of that part of the system. There’s an emergency proxy mechanism for uk residents who are unexpectedly out of the country but no protection for overseas votes
As an overseas voter, I’m dependent on my postal vote which I’ve still not received 2 days before the election. Not even an apology about this from @Hullccnews. I’m in a safe seat with a great MP (@DianaJohnsonMP) but still very disappointing to not have my vote count 😔
@Lawrious No. In 2019 I had a proxy because I decided to do that from day 1 as I was dubious a mail ballot would arrive in time—it arrived anyway 3 weeks before that election. This time with 6 weeks notice and timely delivery of a ballot in 2019 I wasn’t concerned…
Come work with me on a PhD at ICRAR! Either through our ARC funded project (radio galaxies and black holes) or one of my other fun projects , https://t.co/EGKJPkdy5K
