It's Official
I'll be joining @VelocityMarkets team, as their Content & Ambassador Growth Lead and honestly I'm buzzing about it.
If you haven't checked VM yet, it's a motorsport prediction platform on Solana.
F1 is live right now, with MotoGP, Formula E, IndyCar & WEC dropping later this year.
I'll be generally making sure the community feels like somewhere worth being.
Early days, good vibes, lots to build.
Come along for the ride 🏁

The 2026 Miami Grand Prix weekend happened last weekend and there was a prediction pool on Velocity Markets, which was open and filling in real time.
I connected my wallet, confirmed the connection through the dashboard, navigated to the Miami GP pool, and picked Oscar Piastri to finish in the Top 10.
Deposited 0.10 SOL into the pool at a locked multiplier of 2.00x.
Then the race happened.
Oscar Piastri finished the 2026 Miami Grand Prix in the points.
The smart contract verified the result on-chain. Settlement was automatic.
I got back 0.28 SOL, a 180% return on stake,
Because the pool settled proportionally across all winning tickets, and the on-chain mechanics did exactly what they were designed to do
That is what on-chain prediction markets actually look like when they function correctly.
The platform that made that possible is @vel0citymarkets
And this thread is about why it matters.
A thread. 🧵

380 million people globally now buy things they couldn't fully afford upfront
and nobody calls it irresponsible.
They call it smart cash flow management.
Yet in crypto, if you want to buy $1,000 of ETH and you only have $400, you have two options:
1️⃣Wait until you have the full amount, or
2️⃣Open a leveraged position and risk getting liquidated.
One option punishes your patience. The other punishes your timing.
Neither one lets you simply own the asset.
That asymmetry,
one that doesn't exist when you're buying a jacket on Klarna, is exactly what this thread is about.
And it's exactly what @NowaFinance was built to correct. 🧵
IPv8 proposal draft.
It’s 64 bits (IPv6 is 128, IPv4 is 32).
“IPv4 is a proper subset of IPv8. An IPv8 address with r.r.r.r = 0.0.0.0 is an IPv4 address, processed by standard IPv4 rules. No existing device, application, or network requires modification to participate in an IPv8 network”
Also interesting that “Every manageable element in an IPv8 network is authorised via OAuth2 JWT tokens served from a local cache.”

I was doing my usual scroll through @SuperteamEarn looking for opportunities when "PumpCat" stopped me mid-scroll.
Not because it looked like the next big DeFi thing, just because the name was bizarre enough to make me click.
Cats and yield. Together. I had questions.
The project behind it is called GMYLD, Gamified Yield on Solana(@GamifiedYield ).
The pitch is that instead of sitting back and watching a passive APY number, you actually determine how much yield gets released from the stake you make with them and that is by playing a game. Every single day.
I'll be honest, that didn't click for me immediately.
My first reaction was somewhere between confused and skeptical,
so I went to the site, read around, and it slowly started making sense.🧵
Day 3 Update with @GamifiedYield
Interestingly, PumpCat dropped a new update Yesterday that I didn't see coming
They added free tutorial sessions that let you practice before your actual run.
That was a genuinely welcome surprise.
Spent some time in there getting more comfortable with the mechanics and it actually helped me feel more confident going into the real thing.
Then the real thing humbled me anyway.
Rolled the dice once again, got 4 attempts same as yesterday.
My resistance against scratching cats was sitting at just 9 points today which is pretty low, and that ended up being the story of my entire run.
I did make a little progress compared to Day , managed to catch two cats this time, but when it came to the red cat, I just couldn't close it out.
Lost all four of my attempts to that same red cat. Every single one. I even had a plan going in, you can see exactly how it played out in the video below, but the red cat didn't care about my plan.
At this point I have a personal vendetta against that red cat.
Still no meaningful yield movement to report, but the free tutorial sessions are a real addition for new players and I think with more practice the strategy will start clicking.
Day 4 tomorrow, fingers crossed the red cat finally meets its match.
